Me Nicolas Lapierre, Lawyer

Maître Nicolas Lapierre, who holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Université du Québec à Montréal since 2008, has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2010. His professional experience, gained in particular as an assistant clerk during his studies, enabled him to master the internal functioning of courthouses.

In addition to his legal training, Maître Nicolas Lapierre holds a college diploma in multimedia integration and has worked as a computer technician. This experience and training gives him strong technological skills, an undeniable asset in an increasingly digital work environment .

Me Lapierre’s professional legal experience has its focus in Family Law even though he acquired significant experience in other fields such as mortgage-related matters, Civil Law, Criminal Law as well as matters involving the Child Welfare System in the province of Quebec. Indeed, his unique flair and robust experience in these domains continue to be most advantageous and helpful to his clients.

He ensures that his knowledge is kept up to date through assiduous participation in continuing education, particularly on domestic and intra-family violence. In October 2024, he was a speaker at a continuing education day organized by the Family Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association – Quebec Division .

He is an active member of his community. Since June 2022, he has served on the Board of Directors of the Centre d’action bénévole l’Actuel as a director and secretary, and participates in several of its committees. In May 2025, his peers elected him as a councillor for the judicial district of Beauharnois for the Richelieu Bar.
