Me Anne-Marie Montplaisir, Lawyer and Family Mediator

A Law graduate from the University of Sherbooke in 1991, Me Anne-Marie Montplaisir was called to the Quebec Bar in 1992, and became an accredited Family Mediator in 1999.

Since the begining of her carrear, Me Montplaisir had her own law firm until 2021 when she joined the team of Brigitte Brunet Avocats.

Strong of 32 years of practice in family law, Me Montplaisir distinguish herself with her listening skills, her dynamism and her rigor. She master the art of pleading as well as dispute prevention and resolution processes.

Since 2002, she also represents children in front of the Superior court to let them express their desire regarding the ongoing litigation between their parents with respect to the custodial schedule.

She has been involved with the local section of the Quebec Bar Association for several years. She is also involved within the community, in various committees and boards of directors, notably as a member of the Board of Directors for Caisse Desjardins de Beauharnois.
